Facebook Page data deletion

How to disconnect a connected Facebook Page and request deletion of the related integration data stored by the Cusano Ventures Marketing Command Center.

Effective date: June 30, 2026

What this page covers

This page explains how to disconnect and request deletion of information related specifically to a connected Facebook Page in the Cusano Ventures Marketing Command Center. It applies only to the Meta / Facebook Page integration.

It does not describe deletion of unrelated information such as website contact inquiries, client portal accounts, billing records, or project files, which are covered by our Privacy Policy and handled through separate processes.

What we store when a Facebook Page is connected

A Facebook Page connection is created only when an administrator explicitly authorizes it. When connected, we store:

  • Encrypted provider access tokens — stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and never kept in plaintext, never shown in the admin interface, and never included in logs.
  • The selected Facebook Page identity — the Page ID and Page name — plus safe connection metadata such as connection status and token-expiry timestamps.
  • Requested and granted permission (scope) metadata for the connection.
  • Connection health and audit events (for example: connected, validated, reauthorized, disconnected) recorded for security and troubleshooting.

How to disconnect in the Marketing Command Center

An administrator can disconnect the Facebook Page at any time from the admin area: Marketing → Connections → Facebook Page → Disconnect.

Disconnecting deletes the stored encrypted tokens for the connection and, where supported by Meta, revokes the application's access. A record that a disconnect occurred is retained in the connection audit history.

How to revoke access through Facebook / Meta

You can also remove the application's access directly from your Facebook/Meta account settings, where applicable: Facebook Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites) → select the application → Remove.

Removing the integration at Meta revokes the tokens on Meta's side; you should also disconnect in the Marketing Command Center so the stored connection data is deleted on our side.

How to request deletion by email

To request deletion of Facebook Page integration data, email hello@cusanoventures.com from the account associated with the engagement and state that you are requesting deletion of the connected Facebook Page data.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request.

What is deleted or disconnected

On a disconnect or a verified deletion request, we delete or disconnect:

  • Active encrypted provider credentials (access/refresh tokens) for the connection.
  • Active Page connection data — the selected Page identity and connection metadata.
  • Other deletable integration metadata associated with the connection, such as stored scope metadata.

Limited records we may retain

For security, abuse-prevention, and troubleshooting, we may retain a limited connection audit history — a record that connection events (such as connect, validate, disconnect) occurred, with timestamps. These records do not contain access tokens.

We retain only what is reasonably needed for those purposes and remove it in the ordinary course of maintenance. We do not promise a specific deletion timeframe here that the application cannot verify, and we will act on verified requests without undue delay.
