The challenge
Operational visibility often lives across spreadsheets, email threads, disconnected reports, and manual follow-up. Teams need a clearer picture of open work, accountability, financial movement, and exceptions without switching between tools.
Why it mattered
When leadership cannot see exceptions early and teams cannot agree on ownership, response slows, reporting becomes manual, and operational risk grows across regions and business units.
Design approach
The work began by mapping oversight hierarchies — corporate, regional, branch, business unit, and frontline roles — then designing navigation, dashboards, and workflows around those permission levels. Synthetic demo data and import templates were used to show how a unified workspace could support daily review and escalation.
The solution
The platform presents role-aware workspaces with dashboards, operational queues, portfolio views, financial analysis modules, import administration, and governance reporting. It was built as a functioning prototype with a clear path to secure API, database, and identity integration.
Major capabilities
The experience
Each role sees a workspace shaped to their responsibilities rather than a one-size-fits-all dashboard.
- Leadership users start with portfolio-level visibility, exceptions, and reporting paths.
- Regional and branch teams move from summaries into queues, records, and follow-up priorities.
- Business-unit members stay scoped to the accounts and work they support day to day.
- Import and reporting flows are grouped so operational tasks do not require hunting through unrelated screens.
- Responsive layouts keep dense operational tables usable on laptop-first workflows.
- Accessibility considerations include keyboard-friendly navigation shells, visible focus states, and high-contrast operational tables.

Business impact
What the project enables today
- Demonstrates how branch and leadership teams could review operational activity in one place.
- Shows import, reporting, and accountability flows without relying on real client records.
- Provides a handoff-ready prototype for future secure API, database, and identity integration.
Current stage and next steps
Functional Prototype. The work continues with the following priorities:
- Connect to a production API, database, and enterprise identity provider.
- Replace demo persistence with audited server-side authorization and storage.
- Validate scoring and reporting models against approved business rules before production use.
